Current Projects and Performances
August: The Oculary: interactive video art installation @ Emotion Arts and Music Festival, Saskatchewan.
Live visuals installation in collaboration with local artists and Emotion Arts festival. Members of the public will engage with visual effects generation through custom, hands-on interfaces. The Oculary will feature 3 hands-on stations where the audience is encouraged to interact in real time with generated visuals through discreet controls a and/or sound generation devices (contact microphones, etc). There will also be 2 analog visual stations where the audience can manipulate a combination of materials (oil, water, food colouring etc) that are projected live within the space.
The Oculary was concieved with experiental art in mind. We often interact with art from a distance, yet the tactile, experiential sensation of “doing” the art carries an entirely different meaning for individuals. The oculary aims to enable members of the public to engage in art making and low-barrier art making in a community space.
April 5th: Live Visuals Collab w/Rhythmdust + Fadadance
Collaborative venture with Fadadance’s “RhythmDust” ensemble. A selection of dancers exploring themes through dance.
Live visual performance to compliment dance performances by the Fadadance (Regina,SK) emerging ensemble.
Visuals were created through a combination of pre-generated video footage, live GSL shader manipulation, and real time effects. Content was then performed in real time to compliment choreography and stage projection.

“Dystopian Thing” F.W. Johnson STEAM Academy
Educator
In collaboration with students from the F.W. Johnson STEAM academy, students explored the themes and discourse of several dystopian novels through visual art, 3d modelling, sound design, and video art, and graphic design. The project was installed at Neutral Ground Gallery in February of 2025.

Workshop: Hand Made Oscillator, Wavefield Festival
Participants learned about the electronic properties of a basic hexinverter-based oscillator and then built their own circuit on a custom PCB designed for Wavefield 2024.
